Pyramid Launches Beer with Portland Trail Blazers

Portland, OR — As a salut to “Mayor of Rip City” Bill Schonely, Pyramid Breweries and the Trail Blazers are releases Schonz’ Red Session Ale with an exclusive launch party. Guests will have the opportunity to try this special beer offering alongside its namesake. The limited-edition Schonz’ Red Session Ale will be available on draft and in 22 oz. bottles at select bars, restaurants and retailers across Oregon and Southwest Washington. Schonz’ Red Session Ale combines a rich malt bill and flavorful array of hop varieties, culminating in a well-balanced Session Ale. Its specialty malts provide a deep red/light brown color to the beer, while the hops lead its aroma and flavor aspects. The two defining hops, El Dorado and Calypso, combine to bring a juicy, fruity character to the beer.
