For the first time in 120 years, Gansett is releasing a summer seasonal. With such a long wait on it’s return, we had high expectations, that were not only met but exceeded. Say what you will about the ‘Tall Boy,’ but this offering might be their best seasonal yet (although we are partial to the Bock). The Summer Ale pours a clean golden-blonde color with a frothy off-white head. What’s most noticeable however is not the color, its the tiny champagne-like bubbles that dance their way to the top of your glass even after sitting for a few minutes.
