The TRENDS Young & Aspiring Association Professionals represent the present and future of association management. They are nominated by senior executives and peers, who have noticed their contributions and leadership.
“As a result of Dave’s efforts on behalf of NBWA, the association has established leadership roles within multiple national organizations, including groups made up of state legislators, governors, attorneys generals and others,” said NBWA President & CEO Craig Purser. “As part of these groups, Dave has helped NBWA complement the work of state beer distributor associations by fostering relationships and achieving support for state laws within these national groups.”
Since joining NBWA in 2001, Christman has worked in several roles, including government affairs and political affairs before state and industry affairs. He also has served in a number of professional leadership roles. Christman has served as the executive director of the Beer Industry Electronic Commerce Coalition since 2007; he is a board member for the State Government Affairs Council as well as the Responsible Hospitality Institute; and he is a member of the Washington Area State Relations Group.
