Naked City Brewery Launches Acoustic Concert Series

Seattle, WA — Naked City Brewery and “Band in Seattle” are launching an intimate concert series where great Northwest bands braid songs together with stories about the music. The inaugural Naked Session features Big Sur performing two acoustic, story-driven sets in the Screening Room on May 17, followed by Star Anna on June 28, and Spoonshine on July 19th.

Join us from the beginning when Big Sur’s Jake Hemmings (vocals, guitar), Mike Bergstrom (bass), Derek Jackman (drums), Steve Norman (pedal steel, trumpet), and Kat Bula (violin, vocals) take the stage and perform their dark, joyful, often orchestral folk songs. Doors at 7pm, show at 8pm. Seated general admission; full table service. $10 at Brown Paper Tickets.

Naked City Brewery is a passionate supporter of arts and culture. Oftentimes its handcrafted beers are inspired by a song, film, or person. Every beer tells a story, and each one ferments in its own time. The Screening Room is Naked City’s seventy-person dining movie theater, featuring a New American comfort food menu with organic meats, vegetarian, and gluten-free options alongside award-winning craft beers, wines, and ciders.

Band in Seattle is produced by the team at Victory Studios, Seattle’s only full-service media production company. It showcases up and coming local bands in episodes featured Saturday nights at 11pm on channel CW11, and on Qello.
