Mims Distributing Announces Partnership with DraftLine SmartSystem

RALEIGH, N.C. – Mims Distributing Company, a wholesale beverage distributor in North Carolina, has announced its partnership with DraftLine SmartSystem as the first MillerCoors wholesaler to modernize its draft line cleaning administration. The application, designed to track the time required to service each individual draft account, utilizes GPS to ensure that every draft line is serviced within a two-week period.

“We are excited to bring Mims Distributing on board with DraftLine SmartSystem,” says Jennifer Hauke, CEO of DraftLine Technologies. “Our mission is to make it safe to drink draft beer everywhere, and we are pleased to see Mims Distributing share that passion with us.”

Technicians feed information directly to the web-based application through their mobile device to document the type of system in the account (glycol, long draw), incorporate service notes, account information, and conduct tap handle surveys, among other information, which service managers can access instantly via a dashboard. These features provide service managers with the ability to build reports, reroute technicians, track the timely execution of draft line cleaning and improve overall efficiency. By introducing the DraftLine SmartSystem App, Mims Distributing is furthering its commitment to providing exceptional, high-quality beer care to its partner brands as well as uncompromising service to draft retailers.

“By introducing the DraftLine SmartSystem App, we are demonstrating our continued commitment to providing superior beer care throughout the state of North Carolina,” said Chip Mims, CEO of Mims Distributing Company. “We look forward to implementing this tool in our everyday processes and operations to ensure the best beverage care and service possible for our partners.”

Ultimately, craft beer lovers throughout North Carolina will benefit when they raise a glass of outstanding beer brewed by one of the renowned breweries in Mims Distributing’s portfolio.
