Long Trail to Host 3rd Annual “Long Trail Century Ride”

Bridgewater Corners, VT – On June 22nd, 2013 Long Trail will be hosting the 3rd Annual “Long Trail Century Ride” to benefit Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports. Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports provides statewide year-round sports and recreation to individuals of all ages with physical, mental or cognitive disabilities.

The goal of the annual event is to enjoy the beauty of Vermont through cycling, all while raising funds for the state’s largest nonprofit organization committed to providing sports and recreation to people with disabilities.

Whether cycling on the 100-mile or 60-mile loops, or journeying near the Brewery on the 20-mile loop, or just coming to join the party, there is something for everyone to enjoy during the Long Trail Century Ride. All courses start and finish together at Long Trail Brewery, located on Route 4 in Bridgewater Corners, VT.

Top Fundraising Team to Win a VIP Tour of Long Trail Brewhouse

We’re rolling out the fundraising prizes! The team with the top fundraising will win a special VIP tour of the Long Trail Brewhouse. The prize is for up to 10 people and the tour will be the afternoon of June 22 after the ride.

More details will be announced soon on this and our Top Individual and Top Youth (16 and under) Fundraising Prizes.

Our goal – to raise $75,000 through riders, fundraisers and sponsors of this event.

Check In Party at Killington’s Umbrella Bars on Friday, June 21

Please join us in Killington on Friday, June 21 from 4-8 p.m. to check in for the ride (it will make your Saturday morning easier for you!) at Killington Resort’s Umbrella Bars, located at the base of the Superstar Trail near the K1 Base Lodge. We’ll have your check in packet and ride information, plus some fun munchies, beverages and entertainment. Make a weekend of it!
