SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. – Left Coast Brewing Co. is pleased to announce the return of The Big Office Double IPA and launch of Simply Mosaic Hazy Pale Ale. The summer inspired canned brews will be available on draft and in 16 oz. six packs and four packs and join the brewery’s award-winning lineup of full-time and seasonal varieties.
New this month, Simply Mosaic (5.5% ABV, 25 IBU’s) is a New England style, single hop hazy pale ale that is fruit forward with notes of blueberry, tangerine, papaya, and rose petals. Left Coast’s brewers aggressively dry hopped the beer with Mosaic to contribute to its bursting aroma.
“Simply Mosaic will be the first of our new Simply Series,” Tommy Hadjis, Left Coast’s general manager, explained. “The Simply Series will feature new releases roughly every other month until the end of the year. There will be four in total with Simply Citra being next, then Simply Simcoe, and we’ll finish with Simply Galaxy. All these beers will be the same malt bill as a Hazy Pale Ale with a different amazing hop.”
The Big Office (8% ABV, 50.7 IBU’s), a West Coast style hop forward Double IPA, will return this month for summer. The popular beer is brewed and dry hopped with copious amounts of HBC 342, Simcoe, and Mt. Hood. The Big Office is golden in color with a nose of grapefruit and pine needles and showcases tropical flavors of pineapple, mango, and passion fruit balanced with a resiny bitterness.
Simply Mosaic and The Big Office will be available beginning June 26 and June 18 respectively. Both beers will be on tap at the San Clemente and brand new Irvine tasting rooms as well as through limited distribution on the West Coast and across the United States where Left Coast is found.
