San Diego, CA — Karl Strauss Brewing Company is excited to announce its groundbreaking collaborative Beer, Art & Music series—B.A.M.! The company has a longstanding tradition of partnering with local arts and music and a commitment to give back to San Diego. The B.A.M.! Series takes this community support to a whole new level. The idea behind the series is to curate an authentic San Diego experience that combines the best of handcrafted beer, local art, and independent music in one collaborative and entertaining event. “We can’t wait to turn people on to some of our favorite homegrown artists and musicians—all while enjoying great beers in a unique setting,” says Matt Rattner, President, Karl Strauss Brewing Company. “B.A.M.! is our way of bringing exposure to up and coming talent and putting the spotlight on emerging artists in our vibrant city.”
B.A.M.! Series #1 will take place on Saturday, July 26, at the Karl Strauss Tasting Room and Beer Garden in Pacific Beach. The event is from 5pm-8pm and will include music by psychedelic surf-rockers Barbarian, and art featured by Thumbprint Gallery. Artists will also be onsite creating live art on reclaimed wooden skateboard decks provided by Sector 9. Admission is free, with a line-up of specialty and small-batch beers and street tacos available for purchase. The Karl Strauss Brewing Team will be onsite giving tours, shaking hands and kissing babies.
