Hi-Wire Brewing Announces New 2017 Flagship

Asheville, NC — Hi-Wire Brewing will be releasing a new year-round flagship this January in place of their Prime-Time Session Pale Ale. Customers will now be able to enjoy Hi-Wire Brewing’s latest creation and year-round flagship, Lo-Pitch Juicy India Pale Ale (4.9% ABV), scheduled to hit shelves and both of Hi-Wire’s taprooms by early January 2017.

Hi-Wire Brewing’s decision to phase out Prime-Time Session Pale Ale was as strategic, as it was difficult. Co-owner, Chris Frosaker notes, “we decided to make the switch from Prime-Time Session Pale Ale to Lo-Pitch Juicy IPA to modernize our core-lineup. While Prime-Time is a very well made, delicious beer, Lo-Pitch has the big, juicy hop flavors and aroma that modern IPA drinkers are looking for. Plus, at only 4.9% ABV, this is a great every-day option as your go-to beer.”

The Prime-Time Session Pale Ale will always have a place in the heart of the Hi-Wire Brewing team, but its production will be severely dwindled by the end of 2016. Moving forward, Prime-Time Session Pale will only be available on draft in Hi-Wire’s taprooms, and will see limited bottle distribution in mixed 12-packs.

Capitalizing on the next generation of explosive IPA drinkers, Hi-Wire Brewing feels confident Lo-Pitch Juicy IPA will have broad appeal. This thirst quenching, easy drinking IPA packs a bright citrus hop punch. Made with juicy American hops and a light malt bill, Lo-Pitch is the perfect pairing for sandy shores, mountain tops, or your bestie’s birthday party. Welcome Lo-Pitch Juicy IPA to the flagship family, because Hi-Wire Brewing does not see it going anywhere anytime soon.

Lo-Pitch Juicy IPA will be available in six-packs in Hi-Wire’s entire distribution footprint and available on draft in both taprooms starting in January. Join Hi-Wire as they celebrate the beginning of a new era, and say goodbye to an old friend.
