Heavy Seas Beer Hires Director of Marketing & Hospitality

BALTIMORE, MD – Heavy Seas Beer, brewing in Baltimore since 1995, is excited to announce that it has named Sarah West as the Director of Marketing & Hospitality, effective October 2, 2017.

Sarah brings with her over 13 years of professional marketing experience in the Wine and Spirits industry. During her 11-year tenure, she held multiple key roles within the Field, Brand, and Trade marketing departments at Remy Cointreau USA.

“We are really pleased to have someone with such industry-specific experience joining our team,” says Heavy Seas Founder, Hugh Sisson. “One of our goals is to raise the bar on our overall professionalism. We want our distributors and retailers to point to us as an example of how a small brewery should be operated. With Sarah coming on board, we are closer to achieving that goal.”

Born in Baltimore and raised in upstate New York, Sarah has a degree from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI. Prior to her career in Marketing, Sarah spent three years in restaurant management. She has relocated to Baltimore.
