Redlands, CA — Hangar 24 Charities will bring multi-platinum rock group Everclear to the Redlands Airport to headline their two-day Airfest & 6th Anniversary Celebration. The event is held in celebration of Hangar 24 Craft Brewery’s 6th anniversary, with all proceeds benefiting Hangar 24 Charities. The two-day festival will be held May 16th and 17th.
As the event headliner, Everclear will close-out the festival, anchoring a six-band lineup of rock music on Saturday the 17th.
Friday, May 16th will feature an evening of Country music leading up to a performance from country star JT Hodges. In total, the two-day event will bring nine bands to the Redlands Airport.
Throughout both days, guests of the festival will be treated to a wide variety of aerobatic performances, from formation parachute jumpers to a display of fireworks launched off the back of a plane. The festival will feature a performance from the Royal Canadian Airforce CF-18 Demo Team, making it one of only two US airshows to earn a visit from the world-class team in 2014.
Guests will be able to sample more than 30 beers spanning Hangar 24 Craft Brewery’s six years of operation, as well as purchase bottles of the brewery’s 6th Anniversary Farmhouse Saison. This light, citrusy take on a slightly spicy French style Saison will be available only at Airfest, and features artwork by local artist Chris Hernandez, the winner of a label design contest held by the Brewery.
Food from over 40 food trucks and vendors will be available for purchase in a variety of food courts spread throughout the festival grounds. The Brewery’s Tasting Room will offer its normal options across the street from the event.
Tickets are now available for purchase in one-day or two-day options, and more information can be found on the event website. Hangar 24 Charities has enlisted the support of Eyepax IT Consulting for this year’s event to ensure a smooth guest experience from ticket purchase through to arrival, and has made additional investments in professionally managed onsite parking. These changes will reduce impact on nearby neighborhoods and ensure a streamlined experience for each and every guest.
About Hangar 24 Craft Brewery
Hangar 24 Craft Brewery was founded in 2008 across from the Redlands, California airport. Widely known for their flagship beer, Orange Wheat, the brewery takes its name from the hangar in which Founder and Master Brewer Ben Cook and his fellow pilots would meet up with family and friends for a day of flying. Afterwards they would share stories, barbecue, play music and enjoy Ben’s latest batch of homebrews. Hangar 24 Craft Brewery embodies that spirit: good beer, a love of flying and the pure enjoyment of being among good friends.ÔÇ¿ÔÇ¿About Hangar 24 Charities: Hangar 24 Charities was formed to preserve the actual and historical significance of the agricultural industry in the Inland Empire and to carry on charitable activities associated with this mission.
