In addition to the regular menu that will be available all day on Thanksgiving, Chef Gaston Alfaro will be featuring classic holiday specials such as a House-Roasted Local Turkey with all the trimmings, Dungeness Crab Pumpkin Bisque and an array of homemade desserts such as Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Cheesecake with gingersnap crust and Pumpkin Ice Cream.
Open at 10 a.m. with full menu available all day and the last seating at 5 p.m. Reservations strongly encouraged by calling (650) 728-BREW. The traditional Thanksgiving dinner is $20.50 for adults and $11.50 for children under 12, excluding tax and gratuity.

In honor of the crisp holiday season in the Bay Area, the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company has created a big, malty winter warmer called Mavericks Frosty Wave Winter Ale. Guests are invited to don their funkiest holiday sweater and join Brewmaster James Costa in the bar for the release of this brand new ale. The Brewing Company will award a special prize for the “Funkiest Sweater” and will also have little gifts for everyone who shows their funky sweater spirit, while partying with a local favorite band “Califuegos” from 7-10 p.m.
The Frosty Wave Winter Ale is a big, malty winter warmer brewed with Glen Eagles malt and Chinook hops. It is brewed in the style of an English Strong Ale and has a lightly hoppy aroma and subtle Scotch whiskey notes with a dry finish. Its rich caramel and dark fruit flavors are balanced by the spiciness of the hops. Alcohol by volume is 6.8%.
Local Whole Cracked Dungeness Crab

A local delicacy on the Northern California coast, whole cracked Dungeness crab will be featured on the menu throughout the winter. Fresh off the boat in neighboring Pillar Point Harbor, each crab is boiled with Chef Alfaro’s special spice blend and a splash of the award winning Mavericks┬« Ale then cracked and served with lemon, melted butter and a side of garlic bread. Also available drenched with Chef Alfaro’s delectable homemade pesto, this local specialty pairs perfectly with a Mavericks beer and a view of the Pacific Ocean from the heated patio at sunset.

The Half Moon Bay Brewing Company is known in the Bay Area for being a family-friendly destination for live music every weekend, and New Year’s Eve is no exception. From 5 p.m to 9 p.m. onÔÇ¿ Tuesday, December 31, the Brewing Company will celebrate an “Early Bird New Year’s Eve” with Tia Carroll Live delivering fun and memorable R&B hits. There will also be menu and drink specials all night long, and when the ball drops on the East Coast (9 p.m.West Coast time) the TVs in the bar will be showing it and everyone at the Brewing Company will celebrate like it’s 2014.
