Grand Opening Set for Bell’s Bar at Gerald R. Ford International Airport

Bell's Brewery LogoGRAND RAPIDS, MI — Bell’s beer is flowing at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids and a grand opening for the new Bell’s bar will be held on Dec. 18 at 10 a.m.

Bell’s Brewery, Inc. partnered with Maryland-based HMSHost, who manages and operates the bar, to recreate the look and feel of the original Eccentric Café in downtown Kalamazoo inside the Grand Hall Food Court at the airport.

The bar offers a variety of Bell’s beer including seasonal and year round offerings.

Art from the brewery’s collection also decorates the walls and visitors will notice that even the chairs, tables and walls are almost exact representations of the original Café.

The menu features a Bell’s Brewhouse Burger, a Third Coast Burger made with a black bean patty, Beer Cheese Soup, Brewhouse Wings and more. There are also salads and appetizer options.

Tickets are not required to visit the Bell’s bar since it is located inside the airport’s pre-security area.

“HMSHost has been a terrific partner and we look forward to continue serving travelers coming to and from the airport as well as the Grand Rapids community as a whole, said Bell’s Vice President, Laura Bell.
