Fireman’s Brew Expands Internationally

LOS ANGELES –  Fireman’s Brew, a Los Angeles-based craft beer company founded by two firefighters, today announced a partnership with QI Brews to expand distribution of its three award-winning beers into China and Panama.

Through the partnership, Fireman’s Brew will now be available in Mainland China and Panama with future plans to distribute in Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand and the Philippines. Featuring 11 distribution partners, and an existing portfolio of award-winning American craft beers like Santa Fe Brewing Company, Mother Earth Brew Co., Gordon Biersch and Mendocino Brewing Co., QI’s distribution network has a cumulative reach of more than 9,000 on and off premise accounts, that will place Fireman’s Brew in a variety of locales including: restaurants, bars, bottle shops, super market chains, and convenience stores.

“We’ve had tremendous success in the United States, growing our distribution to over 16 states in the last 10 years and we are so excited to take Fireman’s Brew to the next big level with international distribution,” said Rob Nowaczyk, founder of Fireman’s Brew. “It’s truly awesome to see our brand grow from a small, local craft beer company, to a brand that now has an international footprint. We have a great partner in QI Brews as they have the knowledge and network to place our beer in key markets around the globe. We can’t wait to build worldwide exposure for Fireman’s Brew.”

Specifically, QI Brews will provide Fireman’s Brew with full access to their international network of distributors while they oversee all logistics, compliance and export aspects of the delivery to ensure that the beer arrives fresh and intact.

Roger Baer, CEO of Fireman’s Brew adds, “With their integrity and keen understanding of the international marketplace, QI is the ideal partner for us to work with to help bring our handcrafted ales to international beer lovers in China and Panama.”

Conceived by two Los Angeles-based firefighters after extinguishing a brushfire in the local mountains, Fireman’s Brew grew out of their vision to create a premium line of handcrafted ales and lagers that would quench their thirsts after an exhausting day on the firelines. Fireman’s Brew collection of micro-brewed beers are created using only the finest of all-natural ingredients to deliver bold, full-flavored, traditional tastes and easy drinking refreshment. In addition, the company is committed to giving back to the firefighter community upon which it was founded by donating a portion of company proceeds to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation – the nation’s leading non-profit organization dedicated to honoring fallen firefighters and providing assistance to their surviving families.

“With their unique brand story and firefighter heritage, Fireman’s Brew is a compelling brand to introduce to the international community,” explains Matt Abeyta, Managing Director, QI Brews. “We’re honored to be their partner on this important milestone and look forward to beer lovers across the world getting their first tastes of their delicious ales and lagers.”
