Roadhouse and Breakside Brewery Launch Citrus Missile IPA: Hypersonic Kush

Jackson Hole, WY — Roadhouse Brewing Co. is excited to announce the release of Hypersonic Kush, brewed in collaboration with Breakside Brewery—the seventh installment in its boundary-pushing Kush Series. Kush highlights creative, hop-forward collaborations with some of the most award-winning breweries in the country.

Zumo is the wildcard here and proves it can play in the same sandbox as the well-established heavy hitters of the hop world. Pretty cool, too, that in an era where beer is facing headwinds, two mid-sized craft breweries from the Mountain West and Pacific Northwest remain fully invested in supporting growers the way Breakside and Roadhouse do. The mix of public hops, selected lots of private hops, and single-grower varietals in this beer isn’t something you immediately taste in the glass, but it’s the kind of thing that shares the wealth with a broad swath of American hop farmers.”

Hypersonic Kush blends the strengths of both breweries into a citrus-infused Hazy IPA with an explosive burst of flavor and an incredibly smooth finish. Brewed with a four-hop blend that highlights both cutting-edge and legacy varietals, it showcases Zumo—a rising star developed by Segal Ranch in Grand View, WA—which leads with bold notes of candied lime peel and lemon zest. Mosaic and Chinook bring a classic West Coast punch of dank, resinous character, while Strata lifts the aroma into tropical altitudes. The result: citrus meets clarity meets haze in a brew that refuses to be boxed in.

Hypersonic Kush launched this week in 16 oz. 6.2% ABV in draft and 4-packs at bars, supermarkets, and convenience stores across AZ, CA, CO, ID, IL, KS, NV, TX, UT, and WY.
