San Diego, CA — Finest Made Ales has a lot to look forward to, including a new sales manager, Charles Witchey. With Finest Made bottles hitting the market, Witchey joins the team to help expand in California and beyond. Witchey brings 16 years of sales experience in the adult beverage industry.
“Chuck joins the Finest Made Ales team with passion and perspective and is sure to make an impact right away,” said Rey Knight, Chef/Brewmaster at Finest Made Ales. “We’re very excited to add someone with his level of expertise to support our efforts. He sees our vision and understands the culinary component of our craft.”
First exposed to beer and wine sales through the grocery industry, Witchey is well-versed in sales strategy in many different markets. His first adult beverage sales position was with a small, family-owned company in Seattle, which was eventually acquired by Columbia Distributing. He made his way to California as a territorial manager for Belukus Marketing, managing the Southern California, Arizona and Nevada regions. Witchey has also spent time representing several breweries in the United Kingdom.
His initial responsibilities at Finest Made will be to align with distribution partners that share and foster the same beliefs regarding Finest Made’s culinary culture of pairing fine beer with food. He will also focus on growing the brand by building a strong sales team in key markets in California.
“Wherever there is wine, there is food. I’ve always thought that beer should be the same way,” said Witchey. “Finest Made Ales is doing that by creating beers for craft and culinary enthusiasts, and I am looking forward to championing his work and expanding Finest Made’s reach.”
