Farmer Willie's Joins Isle Brewers Guild

Boston, MA– Farmer Willie’s Craft Ginger Beer today announces its partnership with Isle Brewers Guild, the craft collaborative brewing facility in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Farmer Willie’s joins an impressive lineup of notable New England brands in the 13,000 square foot space, including Narragansett Beer, Newburyport Brewing Company and Devil’s Purse Brewing Company.

Created by two Brown University college undergrads and a local Cape Cod goat farmer, Farmer Willie’s uses only the freshest ingredients to brew its revolutionary ginger beer, resulting in a thirst quenching, (relatively) guiltless and healthy craft brew. This naturally gluten free drink made with cold-pressed ginger, cane sugar, lemon juice, molasses and nutmeg contains 1/4th of the sugar (9.5g) and 58% fewer calories (126 cal) than other leading ginger beers. Farmer Willie’s is fermented with champagne yeast to create 4.5% alc/vol so you can drink it straight instead of mixing.

“It’s pretty awesome that we can call The Guild our new home,” said Nico Enriquez, Co-Founder of Farmer Willie’s Craft Ginger Beer. “We launched 2 years ago as undergraduates at Brown University, selling Farmer Willie’s at farmers markets on the Cape. Now with our own space, we have the ability to brew alongside some of New England’s most respected breweries and we’re excited to continue making damn good ginger beer.”

Set to brew its first batch in late March, Farmer Willie’s previously brewed at Pawtucket-based Foolproof Brewery. The brand’s move to The Guild will help to increase production of its sessionable craft ginger beer and increase yearly capacity from 700 to 3,000 barrels. Through the partnership, the Isle Brewers Guild organization will manage production, canning and overhead logistics, enabling the Farmer Willie’s team to focus on marketing, sales, developing & launching new products and fulfilling its environmental commitment of planting one tree for every 10 cases sold. Most importantly, Farmer Willie’s remains dedicated to providing consumers with the best tasting ginger beer in the world.
