Fair State Brewing Cooperative Launches Vienna Lager in Cans

MINNEAPOLIS — Fair State Brewing Cooperative, Minnesota’s first consumer-owned brewery with a focus on quality, community, and cooperation, announces the release of its Vienna Lager in cans. A perennial favorite in the taproom, the brewery’s interpretation of the classic Vienna lager is a malty, approachable beer that’s the perfect companion for any beer-drinking occasion. The Vienna Lager will be available on January 8, 2017 in select liquor stores across Minnesota.

An ode to the classic Austrian-style beer, the Vienna Lager is a malty, approachable beer to drink while celebrating with loved ones. Rated one of the top ten Vienna Lagers in the world by Ratebeer.com, it also satisfies the hardcore beer nerds who are looking for a beer they can come back to time after time. The beer will be available year-round in 4-pack, 16oz. cans.

Due to its popularity, the team decided it was time to make it available to everyone by offering it in cans. At 5.3% ABV and 25 IBUs, the Vienna Lager is pale amber in color, medium bodied, ever-so-slightly toasty from Munich and Vienna malts, with an herbal hop nose.

“Our Vienna Lager is perfect for the daily craft beer drinker who doesn’t need the latest craze in beer,” said Evan Sallee, President and CEO of Fair State Brewing Cooperative. “It’s a trustworthy beer that can be consumed day after day, season after season, in the company of good friends.”
