GOLDEN, CO – Colorado Native Lager is giving away some money and the beer’s drinkers get to decide who receives the cash. AC Golden Brewing Company, brewer of Colorado Native, has been setting aside 25 cents from every case of beer sold to give to charity through its Colorado Native Reinvestment Project. Now it’s time to give up to $15,000 of that money away to a Colorado-based charity(ies).
To nominate a charity, go to www.coloradonativelager.com and click on ‘giving back’. Nominations must be received by midnight, May 26. Colorado Native drinkers will then vote for which nominee(s) they would like to receive the money. Information on how to vote is also located on the website.
Below is more detail on the information that needs to be included in the nomination:
Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your nomination. It must include:
- Charity name
- 501c-3 number (the number/id that proves it’s a non-profit organization.)
- Name of the project the money will go toward (if possible)
- The number of members the charity has (if applicable)
- And most importantly, a few words from you to the rest of the Colorado Native community about why this charity is the one they should vote for!
The charity should be one that preserves, protects or enhances Colorado’s environment, history or accessibility. For more info on the program, go to www.coloradonativelager.com and click on ‘charity’.
