Cellarmen’s to Offer 32 Oz. Cans To-Go

Hazel Park, Mich. — A variety of mead, cider, and beer hand crafted by a band of friends expands into filling cans to-go. Opened in October of 2015, Cellarmen’s brought Hazel Park’s first microbrewery, meadery and cider producer to Metro-Detroit centrally located in the area of I-75 and I-696 on John R.

Now their product will be available to-go in the taproom in 32 oz. cans. As one of the first in the country to offer mead and cider in the large format cans, they hope to continue the push toward cans in the craft beverage industry.

Along with the release of the cans on Saturday May 7th, will be a bourbon barrel stout crafted with the Hazel Park Fire Department for a celebration of the Kentucky Derby beginning at 12pm at Cellarmen’s. The bourbon barrel “Derby Pie” beer featuring Tahitian Vanilla, European Cocoa, Roasted Pecans, and Lactose will be available by the glass or in the 32oz cans to age for later.
