The Booth Brewing Co. Signs Distribution Agreement with Humboldt Beer Distributors

SEOUL, Korea — This week The Booth Brewing Co., a leading Craft Beer company based in Korea, announced signing an agreement with its first wholesale partner Humboldt Beer Distributors (HBD) with plans to expand across the greater Humboldt area.

Through this agreement, all of The Booth’s beers freshly brewed at the Eureka facility–formerly operated by Lost Coast Brewery–will be available in Humboldt, as well as Del Norte, Trinity, and Siskiyou county.

The Booth’s beers include the hazy New England style IPA, EurekaSeoul Citra Hop Ale, rated 4.15/5 on Untappd, and recently one of the most sought-after beers in Humboldt, Kukmin IPA (pronounced “goongmin”, translated to “citizen IPA” or “popular IPA”), Dancing Cow Milk Stout (whose promotional video became viral in Korea), and the Fun Follower Wheat Beer (a unique wheat beer with an Asian twist).

“Scott (Vice President of Humboldt Beer Distributors) and his crew have extensive experience in the industry and really have great relationships with the vast majority of bars, restaurants, and grocery stores in Humboldt” said Youngwon Lee, Head of US Operations at the Booth. “We felt very confident about Humboldt Beer Distibutors representing us in the area. It was the natural choice to partner with them.”

The Booth says the increased distribution will enable faster rotation of their portfolio of beers, keeping them fresh, while meeting the growing demands of the Booth beers in the area.

ABOUT THE BOOTH

The Booth Brewing Co. started off as a small pizza pub in an alleyway of Gyeongnidan in Seoul, Korea in May 2013. Its three founders, initially working as Korean medical doctor, financial analyst, and Economist correspondent, came together with their love of craft beer and the ambition to create a “booth” where young-minded people can gather to change the world while enjoying quality beer, when there were a lack of high quality beer. May 2017, 4 years since its birth, The Booth extended its operations into the current Eureka facility, which was formerly owned by Lost Coast Brewery. Since then, it has been catching the attention of many craft beer lovers across the nation. The Booth recently became winner of California IPA brewery of the year at the NY International Craft Beer Competition, and gold medal winner of the largest alcohol beverage award in Korea, Korea Wine & Spirits Award.
