Allagash To Pull Out Of Texas, Washington

PORTLAND, ME – Due to much higher than expected demand, Allagash Brewing has had to make some very difficult decisions relating to product distribution.

Within the next three months, Allagash will temporarily suspend distribution to both the State of Texas and the State of Washington. This is in no way a negative reflection of our wholesalers, Ben E Keith and Click Wholesale, or our relationship with them. We have the utmost respect for the job that both distributors do with all of their craft beers, including Allagash and very much enjoy working with them. It is our goal to return to both markets and distributors, as soon as possible.

We value and appreciate our current customers in both states, and look forward to returning when we are better able to serve those dynamic markets.

We do not take these decisions lightly, and are working in earnest to add capacity as quickly as possible, while continuing to maintain a high level of quality and not sacrificing our quest for brewing innovation.

We are very fortunate to have very supportive distributors and devoted Allagash drinkers, and are hopeful that you all understand why we have had to make these difficult decisions. This is a challenging but exciting time for us, and we realize that we could have never done it without your support. Please feel free to contact us with any questions. We will keep you updated on our progress.
