Corvallis, Ore. — 2 Towns is excited to announce the recent release of Fly’n South, an apple and Gooseberry cider. This cider is the fourth installment of the 2 Towns Ciderhouse Limited Release line. Fly’n South follows the Limited Release model of unconventional ingredients paired together to create unexpected and tantalizing tastes.
Fly’n South boasts locally grown whole Oregon gooseberries, fermented with 100% fresh pressed Northwest apples. Paired perfectly with pasta carbonara, rich lobster risotto & potato pancakes, Fly’n South is dry, tart and perfect for the long haul.
As always, 2 Town Ciderhouse uses fresh-pressed 100% Northwest Apples, no added sugars, and never uses artificial essences or flavorings. Instead, the Ciderhouse allows the fruit to speak for itself. Fly’n South is now available in the tap room, and to distributors in bottles, and 1/6 bbls and 1/2 bbl kegs. Less than 1000 cases were bottled this week for distribution in Oregon, Washington, California and Minnesota.
2 Towns Ciderhouse is committed to pushing the bounds of what cider can be, while also honoring tradition. To continue its interest in the unexpected and daring 2 Towns created the Limited Release line of ciders in 2013, beginning with the Hop & Stalk and followed by Cidre Muscato & Cot ‘n the Act.
About 2 Towns Ciderhouse
2 Towns Ciderhouse produces craft hard apple cider in Corvallis, Oregon. Founded in 2010 by three friends living in the two towns of Eugene and Corvallis, OR, 2 Towns Ciderhouse strives to bring craft hard apple cider back to the people. 2 Towns Ciderhouse is proud to be a part of the resurgence of America’s first craft beverage of choice. In 2012 we began planting our own cider apple orchard, and since the beginning we’ve been committed to supporting local apple growers by insisting on using the finest fresh-pressed 100% NW apples. We never take shortcuts in the cider-making process—and never add sugar or essence flavorings—but instead let the fresh, naturally fermented ingredients speak for themselves.
