Award winning pFriem Family Brewers officially announced that their Hazy IPA along with a new pFriem Pale will join the Pilsner & IPA annual can line-up.

The landscape in the Pacific Northwest has changed considerably since Josh Pfriem, Ken Whiteman and Rudy Kellner opened pFriem Family Brewers in Hood River, Oregon in 2012. Now on the verge of its seventh anniversary, pFriem is in the midst of a pair of expansion projects that will double its capacity in 2020.

Higgins, Oregon’s original farm-to-table restaurant, is observing a quarter-century in business this year, and has released a special anniversary ale in collaboration with pFriem Family Brewers to celebrate the milestone.

The brewery will expand its existing brewery in Hood River and will build a new facility in Cascade Locks, Oregon, 23 miles further west.

Excitement is mounting for the new Spring releases from pFriem Family Brewers on the heels of the brewery’s big wins at the Oregon Beer Awards. The brewery took top honors including “Brewery of the Year” in the large brewery category and “Best Brewpub Experience” for the fourth year-in-a-row.

Beginning March 1st, 2016, pFriem Family Brewers will officially occupy the entirety of the 20,000 sq. ft. Hood River Halyard building. The six year-old waterfront building is LEED silver certified and is owned by the Port of Hood River. pFriem Family Brewers originally occupied suite 101 when they opened their doors in 2012. Until recently, the building was also the home of Pocket Fuel and Real Carbon.
