This November, the culinary brewing company is excited to announce the 2019 vintages of their popular Bourbon Barrel Aged 12 Layer Cake Imperial Stout and Bourbon Barrel Aged Gingerbread Imperial Stout, as well as the first-time release of the Scotch Barrel Aged Peated Scotch Ale— which President and Brewmaster Jared Rouben created using rare and sought after Laphroaig Scotch whisky barrels.

Ahead of their much-anticipated opening of two new restaurant concepts in Chicago’s South Loop neighborhood this fall (The Dining Room & The Bar at Moody Tongue), Moody Tongue Brewing Company is excited to announce the release of their coveted Toasted Rice Lager to the American market for the first time.

With the use of TapRm, Moody Tongue beers will be available at acclaimed restaurants in NYC including, Thomas Keller’s Michelin-starred Per Se and TAK Room, James Beard Award winner for Outstanding Chef and Top Chef host Tom Colicchio’s Riverpark and Major Food Group hot spots The Grill, The Pool and Lobster Club.

Celebrating five years since opening, the beer release comes just after Moody Tongue’s recent announcement of an upcoming large-scale expansion to a 25,800 sq. ft. space opening later this summer.

In this week’s distribution roundup: Lord Hobo adds New Jersey and Pennsylvania; Two Brothers expands to Tennessee; Ska Brewing hits Iowa and Surly launches in Colorado. Additionally, Moody Tongue expands to Wisconsin and Alesmith Brewing lands in Georgia.

This holiday season, Moody Tongue (2136 S. Peoria St.), the culinary brewery in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, is giving their guests the gift of truffles with its Shaved Black Truffle Pilsner available on draft for the first time ever. Beginning Friday, December 2nd at 5 p.m., guests will be able to sip and savor the extravagant and extremely limited beer in the Tasting Room at Moody Tongue.

To celebrate the start of the holiday season, Moody Tongue (2136 S. Peoria St.), the culinary brewing company in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, will release a limited edition Bourbon Barrel Aged Gingerbread Imperial Stout, available in the Tasting Room on Black Friday: November 25, 2016.

Culinary brewery Moody Tongue and its Brewmaster Jared Rouben will open the Tasting Room at Moody Tongue (2136 S. Peoria St.) tonight, Friday, October 28 at 5:00 p.m. Located adjacent to the brewery in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, the Tasting Room provides an educational experience for guests to explore their palates in an intimate yet open setting.

Moody Tongue Brewery, the Chicago-based culinary brewery, continues to expand its national reach to culinary-focused markets as it officially launches in the San Francisco Bay Area this November, providing residents with a chance to get their hands on the highly acclaimed chef-driven beers.

In a press conference at the Green City Market today, Brewmaster Jared Rouben of Moody Tongue Brewing Company announced the Tasting Room at Moody Tongue, located alongside the brewery in the historic Glass Factory in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago.
