J Wakefield Brewing

Sales of 750ml bottles will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the bay door of J. Wakefield Brewing which is located at 120 NW 24th Street in Wynwood.

J. Wakefield Brewing is one of three breweries collaborating with Run the Jewels, the hip-hop duo of rapper/producers El-P and Killer Mike, to brew one of three versions of Panther Like a Panther. Brooklyn’s Interboro Spirits & Ales and Chicago’s Pipeworks Brewing Company are also creating versions of the beer.

Chains will be available at the JWB taproom on draft and in four packs of 16oz cans for $16.

J. Wakefield Brewing, Wynwood’s only independent craft brewery, is collaborating with Lincoln’s Beard Brewing Co. to brew a special beer to raise money for the people of Puerto Rico who were devastated by Hurricane Maria, last month.

Alex Reyes has begun a new position at J. Wakefield Brewing (JWB) as an account representative.

J. Wakefield Brewing has announced expanded distribution plans, partnering with Cavalier Distributing as their distributor for Orlando and Tampa. Beginning immediately, Cavalier will distribute draught versions of J. Wakefield’s flagship beers including El Jefe Hefeweizen, Hops 4 Teacher IPA, Amber Waves, 24th Street Brown Ale, and UJP Porter, as well as seasonal and limited releases as they are available.

JEY Hospitality Group is pleased to announce the launch of ROK:BRGR’s new signature craft beer, ROK N COCO, created in collaboration with Wynwood’s recognized J. Wakefield Brewing. The ROK N COCO, a fruit-inspired coconut IPA, is now available on tap at all ROK:BRGR locations and sister restaurants; Himmarshee Public House, TacoCraft, Pizza Craft and Apothecary 330.
