Founded by twin-brothers, brew engineers Rory and Brett Marenco, social drinking advocate Josh Hegna, and chief tasting officers Amy Shimek and Karl McLaughlin, Girdwood Brewing Company is a stones throw from Alyeska Resort. Nestled in scenic Girdwood, Alaska, Girdwood Brewing Company is a brewery with a powder addiction. We provide fellow beer and adventure enthusiasts with fresh, flavorful craft beer. Boasting a 10 barrel Premier Stainless brewing system the craftsmanship is apparent in every batch. Our 3,040 square foot brewery and tap room has panoramic views of the surrounding Chugach mountains. Whether you are surfing the bore tide, riding Alaskan powder, pedaling the mountain bike trails, boating a nearby river, or landing a trophy fish, you can cozy up to our bar and share your adventure. Tasters and 12 ounce pours are available to drink in the tasting room, and we will soon fill growlers and 5-gallon kegs. At Girdwood Brewing Company we strive to use local ingredients, hire locals, and give back to our community. Our beers are packaged in kegs to reduce waste in landfills and self-distributed to cut down on transportation costs. Hug a tree, drink Girdwood Brewing Company beer!
