Buoy Beer Company will celebrate February with the continued development of projects and the welcoming of a new team member. The fourth vintage of Love, Lost at Sea will release on February 14th throughout Buoy Beer’s Oregon and Washington distribution area.
Plans are to move the distillery to its permanent home on the waterfront in a former fish processing plant adjacent to Buoy Beer. The new distilling facility will include a new 5,000-liter copper pot still and column (a significant upgrade from the current 950-liter still), a new fermentation cellar with a mash mixer and a mash filter, and a 12,000 sq. ft. second floor devoted to barrel aging.
Buoy Beer Company will release the fourth edition of their River Barrel Small Batch Series and third vintage of their Love, Lost at Sea barrel-aged barleywine on February 14th. Love, Lost at Sea 2020 is an American barleywine aged in Mile High Spirits bourbon barrels for 12 months.

Buoy Beer Company will release their first Foeder beer this January 2019. Brett Saison is a blend of three saisons all featuring pilsner, wheat, Vienna and buckwheat malts. Additions of Oregon-grown Meridian hops are layered throughout and citrus zest from lemons, oranges and grapefruits were steeped in the whirlpool.
