Summertime is in full swing, and Buoy Beer Company has three new beer releases that pair perfectly with summer adventures.

Pride Month is fast approaching and each year, Buoy Beer Company works to raise money and awareness for the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Since 2017, Buoy has created a unique Pride Tee to benefit Astoria’s Lower Columbia Q Center. 

After many years of requests and pleas, Buoy Beer Company is happy to announce that its Helles Lager will now be packaged year-round in 16oz cans.

Buoy Beer Company’s latest Lager Series release, Vienna Lager, is the last beer that was canned in their original building prior to a partial collapse.

Weeks after a partial roof collapse at Buoy Beer Company’s facility in Astoria, Oregon, the company has resumed beer production and operations of its restaurant, as well as opened a summer pop-up pub.

Astoria, Oregon-based Buoy Beer remained closed this week after a partial roof collapse resulted in “significant damage” to part of its facility, the company said.

Buoy Beer Company released its fifth vintage of their Love, Lost at Sea barrel-aged barleywine on February 14th. Strong and complex, this vintage is aged in Freeland Spirits bourbon barrels for 10 months to give it a smooth, sweetly toasted flavor.

November 5th marked the beginning of King Tide season on the Oregon Coast.

Buoy Beer Company recently released Buoy Pacific Pale Ale, adding to their year-round lineup of 12oz cans.

Buoy Beer Company will celebrate February with the continued development of projects and the welcoming of a new team member. The fourth vintage of Love, Lost at Sea will release on February 14th throughout Buoy Beer’s Oregon and Washington distribution area.

Buoy Beer Company has released their 2021 beer calendar of seasonal and specialty beers.

Plans are to move the distillery to its permanent home on the waterfront in a former fish processing plant adjacent to Buoy Beer. The new distilling facility will include a new 5,000-liter copper pot still and column (a significant upgrade from the current 950-liter still), a new fermentation cellar with a mash mixer and a mash filter, and a 12,000 sq. ft. second floor devoted to barrel aging.

Buoy Beer Company & Pilot House Distilling will launch their own Washington State distribution in the Seattle, Olympia, and Tacoma areas.

Buoy Beer Company will release the fourth edition of their River Barrel Small Batch Series and third vintage of their Love, Lost at Sea barrel-aged barleywine on February 14th. Love, Lost at Sea 2020 is an American barleywine aged in Mile High Spirits bourbon barrels for 12 months.
