Sly Fox Brewing Company and 2SP Brewing Company are excited to announce the release of Dog Will Hunt Hoppy Lager, a new collaboration beer that will be coming to select mid-Atlantic taps and retailers in the next few weeks.  

This month the award-winning Sly Fox Brewing Company portfolio will, once again, be available throughout the state of Delaware. Regal Wine Imports, Sly Fox’s wholesale partner will manage Delaware distribution.

People who live in the reinvented Wyomissing suburb of Reading recently received the exciting news that Sly Fox Brewing Company is opening a satellite pub in the Knitting Mills — an upscale mixed use complex of office, retail, and restaurant space developed by Philadelphia-based Equus Capital Partners.

– The brewmaster responsible for transitioning Sly Fox Brewing Company into a regional independent craft brewing competitor will leave the brewery in early July, the company announced today.

Sly Fox Brewing Company will release SRT Ale as a year-round brand on April 21 during the SRT Spree  at St. Michaels Park in Mont Clare, PA.

Sly Fox is launching a third location just 20 miles west of the Pottstown brewing operation, in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. 

In early 2018, Sly Fox Brewing Company will “proceed with vigor” as one of Pennsylvania’s original craft brewing pioneers expands on the independent culture humbly founded by Pete Giannopoulos in 1995.

Brewed collaboratively by Sly Fox Brewing Company, Standard Tap owner William Reed and 91-year-old Bill Moeller, this extraordinary lager puts Moeller’s encyclopedic knowledge of beer as a fourth-generation brewer and brewing consultant on historic display on what is sure to be an instant classic in Philadelphia’s thriving beer scene.

On Saturday, April 22, Sly Fox Brewing Company will celebrate Earth Day with the annual debut of SRT Ale, an American Pale Ale benefiting the Schuylkill River Trail (SRT). SRT Ale is a golden, hop-forward sessionable ale that, at 4.6% ABV, is perfect to drink after traversing its namesake, the SRT.

On Thursday, April 6, at 4 p.m. Sly Fox Brewing Company will debut Chest Bockwell, a German-style lager brewed with real chestnuts, at Barcade (1114 Frankford Avenue) in Philadelphia’s popular Fishtown neighborhood. Chest Bockwell, affectionately named after John C. Reilly’s fictional crime-fighting character in the movie Boogie Nights, is a traditional Dunkel Bock, with chestnut flour added to the mash, drawing on rich Vienna, Munich, caramel and roasted malts from Bavaria for a toasted flavor profile.

The wildly-popular, warm weather offering Grisette Working Class Ale was first canned by the Sly Fox Brewing Company in 2013. In that initial year of its release, the refreshing farmhouse-style ale was awarded a silver medal in the French and Belgian-style Ale category at the prestigious Great American Beer Festival (GABF). It returned the following year to win the gold, and now, in 2015, we’re proud to announce that Grisette was once again awarded a silver medal at the country’s largest beer competition.
