Overview: Canteen Brewhouse (formerly Il Vicino Brewery Canteen) is Albuquerque's longest-standing brewery, with over 140 local, national and international awards. The Il Vicino Brewing Company began in 1994 so we could provide hand-crafted beers in our wood-oven pizza restaurants. Over the years, the brewery has grown beyond our expectations, winning over 140 local, national and international awards. So, we opened the I.V.B. Canteen taproom in 2011. We’re celebrating 20 years of great beer by updating our name to Canteen Brewhouse. We’ll still produce the same award-winning beers—although with new names and a new look!
