Cole hopes the approach of growing through multiple, regionally located, mid-sized breweries will prove itself in Denver and allow the company to consider additional expansion opportunities in the future.

Utah-based Epic Brewing Company officially announced today that it has signed a lease for a new, secondary brewing facility in Denver, Colo. News of the expansion first broke when Kevin Crompton, the company’s brewmaster, announced the plans during a media luncheon at the 2012 Great American Beer Festival, held in Denver last October.

It wasn’t planned, but Epic Brewing head brewer, Kevin Crompton, just announced to over 100 members of the media that the company will expand into a second brewing facility in Denver, Colorado.
