Chris Gallant, the co-founder of New York-based Bronx Brewery, will step down this year as his family prepares for a move to California, the company announced today. Gallant, who launched the company in 2011 with head brewer, Damian Brown, will maintain an ownership stake in the business and a seat on the company’s board. However, he will no longer be active in its day-to-day operations.
Whole Foods Market and Bronx Brewery present the ‘No Name’ IPA, a special collaboration brew, only available at Whole Foods Market locations in the Northeast Region. As the name suggests, the ‘No Name’ IPA is currently nameless. In partnership with New York-based restaurant discovery platform, The Infatuation, The Bronx Brewery and Whole Foods Market, will be launching a consumer contest to name the beer kicking off on November 2 running through December 31.
Today, the brewery maniacally focused on doing one thing, and one thing right, announced the release of Bronx Banner, a golden easy ale. Like any banner, it’s a statement about who The Bronx Brewery is, what they represent and the borough where they brew their beer – the borough on top.
Crisp and refreshing, the seasonal pale ale is brewed with citrus hops & dried lemon peel. And though it is inspired by Master Brewer Damian Brown’s years living in Germany drinking Radlers, it’s perfect for summer days closer to home – because real NYC fun is subway rides, not private jet rides away.
Another day, another deal. New York’s The Bronx Brewery today announced it has sold a minority interest to Tenth Avenue Holdings (TAH), a family office based in New York City that will provide guidance and funding to the small 6,000-barrel brewing operation.
