Alamo Beer Company

San Antonio · TX · Production - Micro

In 2015, The Alamo Beer Company roared to life with a celebratory cannon firing and keg tapping ceremony, marking the moment that the iconic beer brand returned to Alamo City after a 95-year hiatus. To honor the history, and made in the tradition of the Alamo Beer heritage, Alamo Beer Company has brought a craft beer that was made in San Antonio by San Antonio. Alamo Beer Company has been the only beer to bear the ALAMO name since the start of Prohibition in 1919. The internal workings of the state-of-the-art facility have been designed to emulate German breweries, with large onion domes on the kettles and flat-winged lids on the brewing vessel. Other unique innovations in the facility include a gleaming, traditional style copper wort grant as well as pitch tanks and 12 single-wall laagering tanks, and solar-powered panels on the roof of the brewery. Located just east of downtown San Antonio, beneath the historic Hayz Street bridge, we offer award-winning beer, seltzers, beverages of all sorts and full restaurant. ALAMO. Fiercely Independent.

Founded in 2014.
