Redhook Brewery Renews Endorsement Deal with Dan Patrick

SEATTLE — Redhook Brewery (www.Redhook.com) today announced it has renewed its endorsement agreement with sports broadcasting icon Dan Patrick through March 2015. The deal comes nearly one year after the successful launch of Audible Ale, a beer brewed in collaboration with Patrick and unveiled at Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans.

The timeframe of Patrick’s contract ensures the partnership overlaps with, among other major sporting events, two more Super Bowls, two college football bowl seasons, and two March Madness seasons. The Sports Emmy Award winner will also be featured in Redhook’s “Flippin’ Awesome Sweepstakes” in which he will flip a coin in late December to determine whether the winner receives a trip to the Big Game in New York or to Hawaii to see football’s all-stars compete on the same field. Each trip includes two game tickets, round-trip airfare for two, a four-day, three-night hotel stay and $500 in spending money.

“Our relationship with The Dan Patrick Show is perfectly aligned with Redhook’s personality,” said Redhook Brand Manager Karmen Olson. “We can’t think of anyone else we’d rather watch the game and throw back a few beers with than Dan and the Danettes.”

The renewal with Patrick is emblematic of Redhook’s marketing strategy, which has included collaborations with Buffalo Wild Wings, TheCHIVE‘s Resignation Brewery, and fellow Northwest craft brewer, Hilliard’s Beer.

About Redhook:

Redhook was born out of the energy and spirit of the early 80’s in the heart of Seattle. While the term didn’t exist at the time, Redhook became one of America’s first “craft” breweries. From a modest start in a former transmission shop in the Seattle neighborhood of Ballard, to the current breweries in Woodinville, WA, and Portsmouth, NH, Redhook has become one of America’s most recognized craft breweries.

While Redhook has “grown up” over the past 30 years, one thing has never changed—Redhook is still brewing great beers like ESB, Long Hammer IPA, and Audible Ale. Most importantly, Redhook has fun doing it. Redhook beers are available both on draught and in bottles around the country. For more information, visit www.redhook.com.
