Chicago, IL — AUGUST 2 – AUGUST 6 Pipeworks Brewing Co will be collaborating with iconic hip hop duo Run The Jewels and Brooklyn’s beloved Interboro Spirits & Ales, to brew the third iteration of “Stay Gold” IPA. “Stay Gold” will be released at Emporium Logan Square’s Bonus Level during a 5 day long Run The Jewels pop up experience during Lollapalooza where RTJ will be performing on the main stage. The pop up experience will feature Trackstar the DJ and artwork from local Chicago artists.
“Stay Gold”, is a 6% IPA double dry hopped with Citra, Mosaic, Columbus and Centennial. The tri-llaboration of Pipeworks, Run The Jewels and Interboro brewed this iteration to be a highly crushable, deliciously danky, chronic-like tonic. The previous iteration of “Stay Gold”, a collaboration series led by Interboro, was just named Draft Magazine’s #1 IPA in their “50 best IPAs in America” list (http://draftmag.com/50-best-ipas-america/3/).
“Stay Gold” will be on draft and available for sale in 22oz bottles at the pop up flowing alongside a selection of beers from Interboro Spirits & Ales that are only available in Chicago for this event. RTJ inspired cocktails will also be available.
Prolific tour DJ for RTJ, Trackstar the DJ, will be bumping out beats from behind the turntables at 10:30 -1:30 Thursday & Friday.
Chef Brian Fisher (Entente, Schwa) will be pullin up in a food truck on Thursday and offering up Brooklyn style pastrami and Atlanta style hot wings.
Run The Jewels and Pipeworks merch will be available for purchase at the pop up.
