Fieldwork Brewing Co. Named Brewery of the Year at 2026 Great American Beer Festival

Berkeley-based brewery earns top honor in the 5,000–15,000 barrel category, plus three medals across its beer and non-alcoholic lineup.

Berkeley, CA — Fieldwork Brewing Co. has earned national recognition at the 2026 Great American Beer Festival, taking home Brewery of the Year in the 5,000–15,000 barrels category, along with three medals for its beers. Announced during the festival weekend of October 10–11, the honors recognize Fieldwork’s commitment to quality, creativity, and crafting exceptional beverages across a range of styles.

Adding to the brewery’s top honor, Fieldwork took home Gold for Day Money NA Grapefruit Blonde, demonstrating that great brewing extends beyond traditional beer, and Silver medals for two of its beer offerings: Rough & Tumble Bock Lager and High & Fine Westcoast Lager.

The recognition highlights the range of Fieldwork’s brewing program, from thoughtfully crafted non-alcoholic beverages to classic lager styles and hop-forward Westcoast beers. Each award reflects the team’s dedication to making distinctive, flavorful beverages while continuing to push the boundaries of what a modern brewery can be.
