Vista, CA & Nampa, ID – January 29th, 2026 - Mother Earth Brew Co. is kicking off the new year with the release of Cause & Effect Hazy IPA, the first installment of 2026 in the brewery’s rotating Project X Series.
Brewed with Nelson Sauvin, Strata, Galaxy, and Mosaic hops, Cause & Effect delivers a saturated, fruit-forward profile layered with notes of white grape, passionfruit, peach, pineapple, mango, and citrus zest. A soft, pillowy body and low bitterness keep the focus on expressive aromatics and drinkability, creating a modern hazy IPA that’s both juicy and balanced.
Like every Project X release, the beer pairs brewing experimentation with original artwork. This label was created in collaboration with illustrator @fivetimesno, whose glitchy designs feature fractured layers, digital distortion, and bursts of color that evoke motion and chain reactions — a visual nod to the idea that small inputs create big outcomes. The dynamic artwork mirrors the beer itself: energetic, layered, and impossible to ignore.
As the first Project X beer of the year, Cause & Effect sets the tone for what’s ahead — fresh ideas, big hop character, and continued collaborations that bring craft beer and art together in new ways.
“We are thrilled to be entering our 7th year of a program that started out as simply a creative outlet for our brew team. Clearly, the Project X Series has grown considerably since 2019, but it stays true to its original goal of collaboration and expression through beer and art, and 2026 will be no different.”
