Austin, TX – August 21, 2025 – Hi Sign Brewing is thrilled to announce the inaugural release of its Oktoberfest Märzen Lager in cans, a classic German-style beer crafted to celebrate the rich traditions of Bavaria’s iconic festival. This release marks a milestone for Hi Sign Brewing as it brings the authentic flavors of Oktoberfest to beer enthusiasts across the greater Austin area.

The Hi Sign Oktoberfest Märzen Lager is a tribute to the time-honored Märzen style, historically brewed in March (hence the name "Märzen") and lagered through the summer for consumption during Munich’s Oktoberfest celebrations. This amber-hued lager boasts a balanced profile with a smooth, malty backbone, featuring notes of toasted bread, caramel, and subtle biscuit sweetness, complemented by a crisp, clean finish from noble German hops. At 5.8% ABV, it’s a refreshing yet flavorful beer perfect for autumn festivities.

The event will feature live Polka band, traditional German fare, and plenty of Märzen flowing from the taps. Starting next week, 12-ounce cans of Hi Sign Oktoberfest Märzen Lager will be available at select HEB retailers throughout the greater Austin area, bringing the festive spirit to homes and gatherings.
