Smarty Pints™ is a team of Cicerone Level 1 Certified brand ambassadors and is the nation’s first program of its kind. The team is currently comprised of 15 Cicerone certified brand ambassadors across California, with plans to expand to new regions in 2018. Beer brands can request Smarty Pints™ for brand activations such as in-store sampling demos, festivals, expos, trade shows, and more. In fact, Smarty Pints™ ambassadors are already making waves in the world of beer by educating consumers, connecting on a higher level with craft beer connoisseurs, building brand awareness, and helping the novice consumer to develop a new appreciation for beer.
As a team of experiential marketing experts (and beer enthusiasts!) and understanding the competitive and growing retail market space for craft breweries, Mirus Promotions, Inc. recognized the need for more knowledgeable beer promoters, specifically in the craft beer industry, and developed the Smarty Pints™ program as a solution. In fact, two-thirds of the internal team has previous experience working for a craft beer brewery or in beer sales, one quarter of the internal team holds Cicerone certifications, and two of the team members have spouses who work for San Diego breweries; so, it’s safe to say Mirus know a thing or two about beer!
It was the combination of experience, knowledge, and passion that led Mirus Promotions, Inc. to develop the concept for Smarty Pints™ and response thus far has been nothing short of phenomenal!
