LONGMONT, Colo. — MobileCanningSystemsÔäó LLC, the market leader in bringing a canning line to the brewery when the beer is ready, today announced that three additional affiliates have completed training, taken delivery of their system and launched operations. This brings the number of operational MobileCanningSystems Affiliates offering mobile canning services across the United States to nine.
Based in Chattanooga TN and covering Tennessee, Central and Northern Alabama, along with Northwest Georgia, Toucan Mobile Canning (http://www.mobilecanningsystems.com/toucan-mobile-canning/) launched on October 1st. Land of the Sky Mobile Canning (http://www.mobilecanningsystems.com/land-of-the-sky/), based in Asheville NC and covering the state south of Raleigh and Greensboro as well as South Carolina, commenced operations on October 21st. Mid West Mobile Canning (http://www.mobilecanningsystems.com/midwest-mobile-cannin…), based in Crystal Lake, IL, completed training on November 8th and is now available to provide canning services in the greater Chicago area, Southern Wisconsin, Western Indiana and Northern Illinois.
“We’re excited to have joined the MobileCanningSystems Affiliate community,” said Meg Whitt, Owner, Land of the Sky Mobile Canning. “When we had a customer with beer ready to can before we’d taken delivery of our equipment and completed our training, it was great to be able to enlist Toucan Mobile Canning to make a road trip from Tennessee and help us and our customer out for that first run,” added Meg.
“We needed to get our product in cans,” said Suzie Ford, Owner, NoDa Brewing Company. “Land of the Sky came through for us even before they were fully operational themselves, then we became their first solo production run when they canned almost 1,000 cases in two days, immediately after they returned from their training.”
“We were happy to help our colleagues at Land of the Sky with their first customer,” said Carl Oelker, Operating Partner, Toucan Mobile Canning. “We were fresh from our own training in Colorado and had actually transported NoDa’s sleeved cans back with us as well,” continued Carl, “that’s what being a MobileCanningSystems Affiliate and a part of the craft beer community is all about!”
MobileCanningSystems has also updated its upcoming affiliate launch timeline and added two new affiliates to the program, including its first in Canada, as follows:
- Mobile West Canning, based in San Diego and covering the greater San Diego area on December 9th.
- Mobile Can Man, based in Trumansburg, NY and covering upstate New York on January 13th, 2014.
- Spokes Mobile Canning, based in Spokane, WA and covering eastern Washington, Idaho and Montana in February, 2014.
- River City Cannery, based in Arlington VA and covering Washington DC, Maryland, Delaware, Southern New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania on March 10th, 2014.
- West Coast Canning, based in Vancouver, BC, Canada and covering the province of British Columbia, in March, 2014.
- Armadillo Mobile Canning, based in Austin, TX and covering Southeast Texas in April, 2014.
