Headlands Brewing Joins San Francisco Brewers Guild

SAN FRANCISCO — Headlands Brewing Company has become the 16th member of the San Francisco Brewers Guild. Phil Cutti, Patrick Horn, and Inna Volynskaya founded the company. Together they’re focused on making high-quality beer that respects traditional styles, embodies the spirit of the region, and plan on pushing a few creative boundaries along the way.

The company’s first three beers are just starting to go on tap at local bars and restaurants. Keep your eye out for Group G Belgian RyePa, Pt. Bonita Rustic Lager, and Hill 88 Double India Pale Ale. Right now they’re available on draft only, but coming in September, you’ll also find them on the shelf in 16 oz cans.

In addition to making great beer, the founders also plan on making the great outdoors a focal point for the company. They’re planning on hosting adventure driven events, when those future beer cans will come in handy, and also want to support the environmental community. For example, they plan on working with non-profit organizations to repair, cleanup and maintain nature trails.

If you would like more information about Headlands Brewing Company, such as when they’re next launch event is taking place, follow them on Twitter, Facebook, or sign up for their mailing list. You can also expect to find them alongside the entire San Francisco Brewers Guild this fall on October 19th, during Brews on the Bay.
