Champion Brewing to Release True Love Mexican Lager and Malibu Nights Double IPA

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Champion Brewing Company announced today it will re-release two beers: True Love Mexican Lager and Malibu Nights Double IPA.

“We’re excited to re-release these two fan favorites,” said Champion Brewing Company owner, Hunter Smith. “As different as can be, Malibu Nights and True Love are hitting just the right notes with a diverse population of Champion drinkers.”

A collaboration with Houston-based Cockfight Skateboards, True Love (20 IBU, 4.5% ABV) is a Mexican-style lager, inspired by classic beers found south of the border. Malibu Nights Double IPA (45 IBU, 8% ABV) is a bright pink double IPA, brewed with tangerines and hibiscus and dry-hopped with citra and Amarillo hops. Both beers will be available in all Champion distribution markets in April. Both beers will be distributed in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, North Carolina, Texas, Washington, Oklahoma, and Washington D.C. markets. Malibu Nights will be available in 12 oz. four-packs and five-gallon kegs; True Love will be in 12 oz. six-packs and five- and 15-gallon kegs.
