Blackstone Brewing Company Achieves Statewide Distribution in Tennessee

Nashville, Tenn. – Blackstone Brewing Company craft beer is now available in all 95 counties of Tennessee. Blackstone has signed a distributing agreement with Eagle Distributing, Central Distributing and Clark Distributing, which will put Blackstone in bars, restaurants and stores in all of west Tennessee. Blackstone is distributed in Nashville and middle Tennessee by Ajax Turner Company and Ajax Distributing; Cherokee Distributing handles Tennessee east of Nashville.

Established in 1994, Blackstone is the oldest craft brewery in Nashville. A stand-alone, state-of-the-art brewery opened in 2011. The brewery produced more than 12,000 barrels of beer in 2016. A taproom which overlooks the brewing facility opened in July, 2016. Known as the TapHouse, it offers sixteen draft selections and a limited menu of pub fare. Earlier in 2017, CraftBeer.com readers chose the Blackstone TapHouse as the Best Beer Bar in Tennessee.

Core beers from Blackstone include St. Charles Porter, the most award winning brown porter at the Great American Beer Festival; award-winning Chaser Pale, award-winning Nut Brown Ale, and IPAs HopJack, Session Player and Adam Bomb. Popular seasonal releases and limited “Black List” brews are available while they last.

Winter seasonals from Blackstone include: Barista Brew, a black coffee stout brewed using Frothy Monkey Coffee; Black Belle, an Imperial Stout aged in Belle Meade bourbon barrels for more than 8 months; and Dark Matter™, a Black IPA (American Black Ale) that combines Citra, Amarillo and Simcoe hops accompanied by a hint of malt from the dark side.
