Cord

Cord is an oaked maple cider using 100% Massachusetts apples.

We are using 3 different ways to create our own standard of what we think a great cider can be when you use what's available locally. We are using apples, the fruit of a tree, to create a sweet cider that we then ferment to dryness to form the base. Then we use the scraps and off-cuts of an oak tree to age the cider imparting additional complexity and depth. Lastly, we add a bit of sustainably gathered sap from a maple tree to add a final finishing note that creates the perfect balance of oak, apple and maple.
