Destin author and illustrator Andi Scurto, author of “The Accidental Adventure of Mattie the Giraffe,” now has a beer named after her creation: Destin Brewery’s Mattie Light, a light lager.
After more than 30 years in business, Pyramid Brewing Co. parent company FIFCO USA announced last week that it will permanently close Pyramid Alehouse in Seattle, Washington. Missoula, Montana-based brewery KettleHouse Brewing Co has closed its Northside Taproom, it announced in a press release last week. Destihl Brewery has closed its Champaign, Illinois restaurant and brewpub location, the brewery announced on its website.
