Against the Grain Brewery & Alehouse

In September we at Against the Grain decided after years of poking fun at our good friends up north it was time for a handshake and a beer. Together we made our version of a fest bier. It’s malty, but hopped up, to add a bright and floral character to. We let Three Floyds name this one, “Too Dumb to be Evil,” but let it be known that they are evil and we are not.

Against the Grain’s Bo & Luke barrel aged imperial stout boasts a recipe inspired by our beloved spirit, Kentucky Bourbon.

Together for one imperial release, we give you 70K and Gnight Ryder! We’ve bottled not one, but TWO big, barrel aged beers and are releasing them on the same day at the same time. The best part? You don’t even need a ticket! May 14 at noon both bottles will be available locally and nationally.

A year ago we busted some moves, pulled out all the stops, and opened our production facility along the banks of the great Ohio River. Since then, we’ve been putting our beers into the hands of thirsty beer drinkers everywhere. We’re pulling back the curtain and inviting you into our happy place. Patrons can see where all the brewing magic happens and pick up our famous Double IPA, Citra Ass Down, right off the canning line.
