At the end of October, Odell Brewing will celebrate the release of its Kriek-Framboise hybrid Lambic-style ale. Using a solera process, Friek is brewed with Colorado cherries, aged and soured in oak barrels and then blended. Fresh raspberries are added to the brew just prior to the blend.

This August, Odell Brewing will celebrate the coming fall season with a new six pack. Oktoberfest, a Märzen-Style Lager, will hit be available in early August through September. The new seasonal six pack follows the brewery’s summer offering, St. Lupulin.

Prairie Capital Advisors Inc., a leading corporate finance advisory and investment banking firm, acted as exclusive financial advisor to the ESOP Trustee, GreatBanc Trust Company, in the transaction for Odell Brewing Company to become 19% employee owned. Prairie provided services which included valuation, feasibility and a fairness opinion for the transaction. On July 31, 2015, Odell Brewing will celebrate the release of its newest Cellar Series brew, Piña Agria, a sour ale brewed with pineapple. Offered in 750ml cork & cage finished bottles, the Cellar Series of beers are bigger and bolder brews that push the boundaries of style, ingredients, and brewing techniques. They are a showcase of the brewers’ innovation and talent, and an outlet for creativity and experimentation.

In a hybrid management buyout and employee stock ownership transaction, Odell Brewing will sell 70 percent of the company to brewery employees, co-founder and CEO Wynne Odell told Brewbound. The deal, first announced late last night, will see 51 percent of the company transferred to three members of the executive management team — director of sales Eric Smith, COO Brendan McGivney and CFO Chris Banks. 19 percent of the company will be sold remaining brewery employees (currently 115).

Another Colorado craft brewery has turned ownership over to its employees. Fort Collins-based Odell Brewing tonight announced the establishment of an employee stock ownership plan, selling 19 percent of company stock into a newly formed trust in which all 115 employees will participate.

On July 1, 2015, Odell Brewing will release its newest seasonal four pack. Following Tree Shaker, Brombeere is a Gose (Goes-uh) brewed with blackberries.

For the second year in a row, Colorado’s Odell Brewing Company topped Tamarron Consulting’s annual Craft Brewer Performance Survey. With an average performance score of 4.19 (out of 5), Odell led a group that featured seven of the country’s leading craft breweries, including Deschutes Brewery, Dogfish Head, Great Lakes Brewing, Stone Brewing and Summit Brewing.

On May 12, 2015 La Cumbre Brewing Company and Odell Brewing Company teamed up to make a special collaboration beer for the upcoming Albuquerque Beer Week. The brew, dubbed Paradisal Pale Ale, is a limited draft-only release featuring rare hops.

On June 1, 2015, Odell Brewing will release its latest Cellar Series offering, Barrel Thief, an Imperial India Pale Ale aged in medium toast American oak barrels.

In late April and early May, Odell Brewing’s Summer Montage Variety twelve pack returns with a new mix of brews including the brewery’s flagship IPA, Loose Leaf Session Ale, summer seasonal St. Lupulin, and Perle White IPA.

On March 20, 2015, Odell Brewing will celebrate the return of Tree Shaker Imperial Peach IPA. The beloved brew, a former cellar series offering, makes a comeback in a new package configuration – a four pack.

Trellis Garden Ale raised more than vines this March for local community botanic garden, the Gardens on Spring Creek, 2145 Centre Avenue. As a wrap to a collaborative brewing project between Odell Brewing and The Gardens, the local brewery presented a check for $17,856 to the Friends of the Gardens on Spring Creek, the Gardens’ non-profit fundraising and advocacy group. One dollar from each bottle sold of Trellis Garden Ale raised the proceeds.
