Brewery Ommegang has broken ground on an extensive expansion of their onsite visitors’ center, upgrading all facets of the facility to enable the brewery to better accommodate the surging crowds of beer tourists that flock to the area. The renovations began just before the holidays and will be completed by the start of the 2018 summer season.

As cooler weather settles in on the northeast, Brewery Ommegang is pleased to introduce their latest limited edition brew: Ommegang Smoked Porter. This nod to a traditional English beer is brewed with subtle additions of smoked malt and a touch of Saaz hops to add additional depth and character to an otherwise traditional English brew.

Named for the enchanting melodies that fabled sirens used to lure in weary sailors, 9% ABV Sirens’ Song will draw in beer fans to explore uncharted imbibing territory.
Many within Boulevard Brewing Company believed Jeff Krum was preparing for retirement. Krum, Duvel USA’s vice president of corporate affairs and a 22-year Boulevard veteran, had spent 18 months months away from the brewery’s day-to-day operations after being assigned to complete special projects, such as a new visitors center and beer hall, which opened in July on Kansas City, Missouri’s Westside.
