PHOENIX, Ariz. – Founded in 2007, SanTan Brewing Company is opening our new location in Uptown Phoenix today. Located on the SW corner of Bethany Home Road & 16th Street, SanTan’s second brewpub will continue the mission of pairing our craft beers with craft food, to inspire great conversations that could change the world.
“SanTan Brewing is excited to officially announce our second home is up and running in the BethanyEast neighborhood,” notes Anthony Canecchia, Founder and Brewmaster, “bringing the spirit of SanTan, that our fans have come to love, as an Arizona owned, Arizona brewed company.
SanTan Brewing’s uptown location will implement its popular Chandler menu, featuring pub-styled food with a Southwestern flair. Classics like the award-winning Ricky Ricardo sandwich, Brewer’s Mac andCheese, tacos, burgers, pizza and of course, SanTan’s handcrafted beers. Managing partner, Jamie Hoffman adds, “our signature Chipotle Bacon Cheeseburger will absolutely be on the menu, being a SanTan favorite and one of the best cheeseburgers in the valley.”
All of SanTan’s staple beers are available fresh on tap, along with a few of the Pilot Series specialties brewed in Chandler. A small brew system will be installed over the coming months, which will handle the volume needed for the brewpub, along with allowing the brew team to create beers unique to thePhoenix location.
Along with our own beers, SanTan’s tap lineup will also include Arizona wines, a margarita made with Roger Clyne’s Mexican Moonshine tequila, and Peixoto’s cold brew coffee.
Grand opening festivities will be held all day today, highlighted by a ribbon cutting ceremony with theGreater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. The brewpub is located at 1525 E.Bethany Home Road, Phoenix. 602-595-7390 for more details.
